NO PEANUTS NO WORRIES Patisserie was born from the need
for cakes - for our son.
At the age of 18 months old, our son was diagnosed with anaphylaxispeanuts & nuts allergy. Almost
6 years since then, and we are on a constant guard when it comes to every food
our son eats.
We discovered that there are allot of products out there
that are safe for him, but there was always that one problem - THE CAKE.
Birthday parties, afternoon BBQ at friends, buying a cake for the weekend etc -
the desserts were always unsafe.
We also discovered that going to a Café for a coffee
& cake (well – just a cake for our son) is totally out of the question.
Having a husband who is a very experienced pastry cook
(more than 30 years in the industry) helped, and NO PEANUTS NO WORRIES, a
Patisserie that is "clean" from peanuts and nuts, and that can serves
retail and wholesale, was opened.
We can now enjoy cakes and cookies whenever we feel like
it, and we are happy to hear that children and
adults with anaphilactic peanuts & nuts allergy can enjoy our cakes too.
NO CROSS CONTAMINATION - NONE WHAT SO EVER.
No peanuts. No nuts. No peanut traces. No nut
traces.
However, our products do contain: milk (dairy), eggs,
wheat (gluten) & soy. they also may contain fish products.
All of NO PEANUTS NO WORRIES ingredients do not enter the
door - unless we have in hand, prior ordering, a black & white hard copy of
the specification sheet, which includes ingredients list and allergy statement.
Every product - flour, sugar, oil and more - is being checked and approved
before ordering it.
Our "Specs Folder" is placed in the Patisserie
and is free to inspect by our customers.
The fight, the concern, the protection of our son's life
is an ongoing thing, every day, 24 hours a day. But when it comes to our cakes
& cookies - we know we can eat them with our eyes closed.
